Fruity Fruit Pebbles Treats

These treats are not for those who shy away from very sweet treats! There is some balance added by a bit of salt and tart freeze dried strawberries.


8 ounces salted Butter, plus extra for pan

1 - 10 1/2 oz bag Mini or Large Marshmallows

1 - 10 1/2 oz bag Mini Fruit Marshmallows

1 - 15 oz box Fruity Pebbles Cereal

1 1oz bag Freeze Dried Strawberries

1 cup White Chocolate Chips

1 teaspoon Flake or Coarse Sea Salt - optional


  • Line a 13" x 9" baking casserole with buttered parchment paper or wax paper.

  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat.

  • When the butter is melted, stir in the bag standard marshmallows. Melt marshmallows into the butter, stirring often, until mostly smooth.

  • Remove pot from the heat.

  • Add each of the follow and stir to combine without over mixing, you do not want to break up everything too much or have the fruity marshmallows melt together and mix:

  • fruity pebbles

  • Freeze dried strawberries (reserving some for garnish)

  • Mini Fruity Marshmallows (reserving some for garnish)

  • Transfer 1/3 mixture into prepared pan pressing down lightly and sprinkle with 1/3 of white chocolate chips. Repeat 2 times. Mixture will look a bit loose and dry.

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

  • Garnish top of treats with reserved marshmallows, freeze dried strawberries and flake salt.

  • Place into 200 degree oven for 10-12 minutes to soften all.

  • Remove from the oven, place a sheet of waxed paper or cooking parchment over treats and press gently to tighten treats up.

  • Let cool completely and cut into squares of desired size.
