Grasshopper Pie


1 9oz Package Chocolate Wafer Cookies

4 Tablespoons Butter, melted

1 8oz block Cream Cheese

1/2 pint Heavy Whipping Cream

1 14oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 3.4oz box Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix

1/2 cup Milk

1 Tablespoon Crème de menthe, or 1/4 teaspoon mint extract

Optionally: Coco powder, Chocolate Shavings, Chocolate Chips or Coco Nibs or Cookie Crumb for garnishing


  • In a blender or food processor pulse cookies until broken into a fine crumb.

  • Add cookie crumbs and melted butter to a 9" pie plate and stir to blend.

  • With a cup or hands, press cookie crumb into pie plate to form a solid crust.

  • In a stand mixer beat whipping cream and cream cheese until well combined light and fluffy.

  • Add can of condensed milk. Whip until combined.

  • Remove half of the cream into another bowl. Set aside.

  • Add chocolate pudding powder to the cream in the stand mixer. Whip until combined.

  • Spoon chocolate cream into the pie shell. Spread evenly.

  • Whisk Crème de menthe into reserved cream. Spoon mint cream over the top of the chocolate cream.

  • Garnish as desired.

  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Makes 1 standard sized pie.
