Cardamom Rose Syrup


1 cup Water

6-10 Green or Yellow Cardamom Pods - depending on size

4 teaspoons Rose Powder


  • Place water, sugar and cardamom pods into a pan and bring to a boil.

  • Cut heat, cover and let steep/cool for 20 minutes.

  • Stir in rose powder. If you put the powder in too soon the syrup will be more bitter.

  • Allow to steep for 4 hours or more.

  • Strain through a coffee filter and pour into a container for storage.

  • Store refrigerated.
