2 cups Heavy Cream
3/4 cup Caster Sugar - preferably Vanilla Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Bulgarian Buttermilk - or other full fat Buttermilk
1 batch Roasted Strawberries, strained. Reserve Syrup for another use.
stir cream, sugar and vanilla together until sugar is completely dissolved.
Stir in buttermilk.
Freeze per manufacturer's instructions in an ice cream machine.
Working quickly, turn ice cream out into a bowl and mix in roasted strawberries. Optionally you can add them at the mix-in stage of your ice cream machine, but that will result in a pink ice cream rather than a distinct buttermilk and strawberry swirl.
Pack ice cream and hard freeze.
